Well today I have published my Website here on Weebly and I feel very proud of myself that I have sorted it all out without help.....OK...I hear you say....it's so easy on Weebly....and yes that is true but, I have made a Paypal button all by myself and learnt how to change photos and upload them etc etc....so yes, I am one proud little black duck!
If you have read my pages, you will know that I love to draw, but I also love to write.....I have recently written a booklet titled "Diary of a Hysterectomy - A True and Unvarnished Story...Guts and All"....It is a funny look at the problems I faced, (and a lot of women face) over the years from the age of 11 with my womanly bits & pieces. It follows the journey right through to my Hysterecomy last year and the subsequent recovery period and most woman from 15 to 100 will appreciate the content.........It is with a publisher at the moment and I'm hoping that they will accept it for publication.....if not...I will try and work out how to self-publish as an e-book......
I have followed all the steps regarding pre-submission and gauged opinions from woman of all ages......I have had only positive feedback, with some ladies passing on their copies of the book and raving about how much they laughed and empathised with me as they writer.....
I also have done all the cartoons for the book, including the one above, which depicts my frustration when no-one would help me......The one below is another example of how desperate I became..............more tomorrow folks.....take care....see you then! xoxox
Hi, At 59 I am just finding my feet in the world...So exciting! I have learnt a lot over the years.....gone from being extremely hard up to living a very comfortable life and loving every single minute of it.......My boys are grown up and living good lives themselves and I am so proud of them.......I have the best husband in the world (most of the time anyway....hahaha) and I have 3 dogs who I just adore and they adore me...... I try to live by my motto ......"Be like the sun....let your warmth shine through always"
